About Us
Hello! And welcome to the Acai-licious Health Bar and Café.
We are so glad you have chosen us as your go to health bar and café right here in the heart of Cocoa
Village. We are Hannah and David Bolton, and we are the owners of Acai-licious.
Our story began when two young kids joined the military out of Florida (Go Navy)! As we traveled all
over the U.S. and the world during our combined 16 years of service, we came across some incredible
places we fell in love with and we’d love to share little bits of them with you!
The place that had the biggest impact on us is Hawaii. Not only did we meet and get married there, but
we also hiked and explored non-stop and were introduce to acai. Our staple and go to after a good hike.
Two other things we discovered that we keep a good stock of in our personal pantry is 100% Kona coffee
and North Shore Goodies Peanut Butter. There’s truly nothing like those two.
After coming back to the continental United States, we were stationed in Charleston, SC for 3 years and
besides the incredible history, Charleston is known for its good food! As we ate our way through
Charleston, we found some staples that we knew we didn’t want to live without.
One of these is the Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits. Another is the Capers Blend Coffee from King Bean
Roasters.
Fast forward to our return to our home state of Florida, we chose the Space Coast as our permanent
home in 2021. We remember driving from Charleston, arriving at sunset, and stepping onto Cocoa
Beach. It instantly felt like home.
As we settled in our new civilian careers, we continued to discuss our joint dream of owning a little
coffee shop. So when Acai-Licious became available, a place we’d often visit, we felt the opportunity to
make our dream of a coffee shop come true. And to add acai to it, it was whipped cream and cherry on
top.
We are so excited for this new adventure we’re on and were hoping that Cocoa Village enjoys the
delicious acai bowls, coffee and treats we bring to it with love, inspired by our travels.
